Take Care of Your Feet

In a survival situation it is very important to take care of your feet. Especially since they may be your only form of transportation. Keep your feet as dry as possible, and wash and massage them as often as once a day keep your toe nails cut straight across. While hiking, stop at least every hour to rest them. Examine your feet for any red, tender, hot spots or blisters. Shake your shoes / boots out thoroughly of any stones, sticks, etc., readjust your socks if necessary, and take care of any rough spots in your boots.
